There are Four Things
You Must Know
Before You Can Be Saved
1. WE ALL NEED SALVATION
Romans 3:10 "There is none righteous, no, not one."
Romans 3:23 "For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God."
2. GOD HAS PLACED A PENALTY ON OUR SIN
Romans 6:23a "For the wages of sin is death."
3. JESUS DIED TO PAY THE PRICE FOR OUR SINS AND OFFERS SALVATION TO US AS A FREE GIFT
Romans 5:8 "But God commendeth his love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us."
Romans 6:23b "...but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord."
4. WE MUST RECEIVE THE GIFT OF ETERNAL LIFE THE BIBLE WAY
Romans 10:13 "For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved."
Trust Christ As Your Saviour Now
Pray this prayer when you are ready to trust Christ as your Saviour.
"Dear Lord, I confess I am a sinner and I need to be saved. I believe that Jesus Christ died on the cross to pay my sin debt. Forgive my sin debt. Forgive my sin. Come into my heart, and save my soul."
For Assurance of you Salvation read:
John 5:24 “Very truly I tell you, whoever hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life and will not be judged but has crossed over from death to life."
I John 5:11-13 "And this is the testimony: God has given us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. Whoever has the Son has life; whoever does not have the Son of God does not have life."
